The Friends are proud to announce that another park enhancement project is ready to enjoy! Two waymarked trails have been laid out, guiding visitors to less-busy parts of the park. The trails are marked on the park maps in red and yellow and signed by colour-coded posts. The red trail is 2.3 miles and the yellow is 2.4 miles. A map brochure will be available soon with information about sights along the trails. The Friends also hope to run some guided walks to inaugurate the trails, so watch for information about those. It’s time to explore our fabulous park! (21/04/16)
Park Play Equipment
The Friends have just been advised by the Council that some of the play equipment in the park has been inspected and deemed unsafe due to rotten wood. The affected bits will be taken out later this week. Replacements have been ordered, but the actual replacement may take some time. Apologies for any inconvenience. Posted (06/06/16)
